How much does a conversion cost?

To get natural gas to your home or building, New Mexico Gas Company will need to extend a natural gas line along a road or approved right-of-way near your home or building, and then our crews will install a service line to connect your home. The final cost will depend on the length of the mainline extension, the length of the service line and other factors such as landscaping and driveway crossings. A detailed cost estimate will be provided for each customer before conversion work is performed. The cost for converting furnaces and other appliances is typically at homeowner expense. We offer rebates for energy efficient appliances.
